Innovative stable featuring unique architecture and sleek recreational area
anno 2015
Your journey through the authentic homestead, nurtured by the fifth family generation in a row, begins with guest-greeting gates inspired by the Middle Ages. The renowned artist Stasys Žirgulis created the planes of the gates to convey the impression of a bridge opening before a fortress. Wolves guard the entrance on each side of the pillars.
Right behind the gate, surrounded by impressive nature, forests and the Nemunas River, a majestic oak grows, and in its shelter – 9 original carved armchairs, symbolizing the nine brothers and sisters that grew up in the family. Private like a retreat and majestic like the Middle Ages – so you could feel safe whenever you sit down in them.
Like a family heirloom, next to the oak stands the rebuilt family house, which became the starting point of the whole creation.
When the wish to open up the space for guests arose, the wetlands gave way to lakes, flowers, and other flora. Ideas were born in synergy – architects, as experts of sustainable planning, encouraged by the artful ideas of exceptional personalities, have fulfilled the concept while creating an original environment. On the family farm, next to cattle, the first alpacas settled down. Tautvydas Barštys, always accompanied by sports and a love for horses in his life, encouraged the birth of the stable.
It was planned to be innovative, featuring not only exceptional architecture but also the greatness of its beauty. Each square meter of earth in the homestead is carefully taken care of, and there are plenty of artworks, while the bird sculptures, symbolizing care and safety, allow our guests to explore freedom and space.
There are plenty of activities – tennis and Padel courts, wake park, basketball court, cottages equipped for comfortable stays, VIP conference rooms, spaces for outdoor events and photoshoots, a path that leads through a majestic forest all the way to the Nemunas River – all of this is waiting for you. And at the center of it – the innovative stable that has no analogues in the Baltic states.
